There’s nothing like a well-made steak seasoned with our Ethical Butcher Steak Rub. Our Pan-Seared Bone-In Ribeye recipe guarantees a perfectly cooked steak every time.

Ingredients:

• Bone-in ribeye steak, Ethical Butcher Steak Rub (1 tablespoon/8 oz)
• Using a paper towel, pat steak dry and season generously on both sides with Ethical Butcher Steak Rub. Allow steak to rest at room temperature for at least half an hour before cooking.

• Lightly coat your skillet with cooking oil.
• Gently add the steak to the pan and sear each side until a browned seared crust is achieved, about one minute per side.
• For a medium-rare finish, remove steak from skillet when the internal temperature reads 130°F. Let steak rest for 5 minutes as the inside temperature carries over to 135°F. Cut against the grain and serve.
Note: For thicker steaks or if medium-well doneness is desired, finish cooking steaks in the oven immediately after pan-searing each side. Set oven temperature to 400°F, removing steak when the internal temperature reaches desired doneness or 150°F for medium-well.
